My blogging experience....

Hi everyone! This is the last comment as student of this class! Normally, I write about everything in Spanish but I never write in English in other situation that English class .This reason made my experience as writer of this blog was very interesting! Also I recognize that was my first Blog, before this class, I didn´t have any page of this format! I must admit that process was interesting and it is excellent exercises to practice this language.
I can say that this activity helped me to improve my English, if well sometimes I made some mistakes in my drafting, I can see this situation and understand the cause of this mistake. Also is very a good tool for understand and memorizing new words. At the same time, I can read about likes and ideas of my classmates, in these pages are texts really curious!
Respect to the advantages and disadvantages of blogging in the English class, I must say this form of teach is an advantage because we have resources and technology, and in this part of class we can take this opportunity. But a big disadvantage is the bad service of internet, this is very unstable, and it difficult to work. Other point is the number of words we should write, for me this is boring (only for say a way) especially when we have any problems on mind about the next class as econometric tests.
Finally I can say thanks Sr. for dedicate your time to read our comments, and classmates I am going to read their new comments in the next class! (and the end).

Work hard for the money or.....

Now, I am focus in finish my studies achievement excellent grades. In seven years I can see myself working in the public administration. I would like to study a post degree for my specialization in the public policies or in the international area to get a chance to work in the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
My career is essential for my plans in the public sector, obviously I would like improve in my favorite area, this has relation with Political Science more than management in any Public Service . Also I think that: I can complement this aspect with other activities in the private sector, for example I would like have a clothe´s shop with my designs, I can have this activity as hobby or develop any economy activity compatible with my job.
I prefer to work in Santiago because old my life I live in this place and I wouldn´t like change my lifestyle because in other side of Chile I think what the lifestyle is more slow for me. If I can travel I would work as agent of Ministry in other country as Spain or Italy.
In the public sector the deal is equal for everyone, but In my ideal job is where I will work from 9am to 4pm and I can get a good income, not excessive but enough for I can have a quiet life without debts. I will get a job with a good relation with everyone (I hate rivalry or envy with the people! I have this hope). Also is very important to me can climb in the job, I wouldn´t like to be a person without improvement spirit.

A world of letters

I don’t consider myself an excellent reader but I always read a book or magazine for my study, but lately I don’t have time to read any book that I like.
When I have free time one form to spend my time is to read. In general I read realistic stories more than fantastic stories. I enjoy suspense stories.
In this moment I am reading a book about History of Chile associated to democratization of Chile, It explains how the strike played an important role in this transition period. I remember a book that I really liked when I was a little child, this was “El lugar mas bonito del mundo” but I don’t remember very well this story. Another book is Cien años de soledad. I really enjoyed this book.
In my opinion the book should not disappear because of internet. Sometimes is more comfortable reading books on the Internet especially when you are a student because we save a time in search in the shelf and it is easy to search words or pages. I don’t think in the future we will only read in a digital format because a book has a special plus that a digital format doesn’t have. I think that humanists share this idea.
The State can implement new strategies to promote the reading especially in the schools for example the State should create new nationals contests to promote the reading.

Gender and State

The law can not discriminate between man and woman.
Public Policy is the discipline that studies the action of the different legal actors, public authorities and citizens. Men and women have equal right as citizens in society.
Thinking in this premise I really believe that public policies ensure the equality in the practice, for example in the government of Chile is equal deal for woman and man, this was showed in the election of ex President Michelle Bachelet. Also in the choice of ministers an important number were women. The only discrimination is the suitability for the office.
An objective of any public policy is give equal possibilities for all Chileans; the Public Services can not discriminate to anyone for social class, sex or any characteristics.
In the creation of public policies, the citizen takes part in the process (this is a right) and the Government should identify the needs of people to develop public policies successful and effectives, these are adapt to reality .
As future Public Administrator, I would like contribute with the country in this function. I would like work in the develop and implementation of public policies that can change the life of many people. Show that men and women have equal capacity

My favourite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology is my mobile phone. It is a great piece of technology! Because I think is very practical, for example when you are away from home or any place, you can call and tell “Sorry, I’m going to arrive late!

I got my first mobile phone when I was a child but I don’t remember when exactly, but I remember it was a blue mobile phone. I got four or five in my life. Each mobile phone was a gift for my birthday or Christmas, I never buy one of this!

I don’t leave my home without it; my mobile phone always is in my hands, my bag, or my pocket and I always use this for stay in contact with my parents, boyfriend or friends. They always want speak with me can do it! It is amazing do you know?

I really like it, because thanks to technology I am reachable in any place! Call is not the only function of my actually mobile phone I can get pictures, videos, listen to music phone, it`s fun!

My life would be most complicated without my mobile phone because I usually arrive late and I can tell when this happens.

The films of my life

I really like watching films; I think it is a good way to spend free time on company of another person.
My favorite films are suspense and love stories. Normally, I prefer watching movies at home, it´s a good way to share an afternoon with my boyfriend, family or friends, and it´s cheaper.
If a new film is featured and it is interesting to me, I go to the cinema with anyone who wants to go with me, and of course, I´ll buy delicious popcorns to enjoy the movie.
The last film I watched in the cinema was Avatar in 3D and I went with my boyfriend, but we watched Shutter Island at my home two weeks ago.
I have to recognize I am not a fan of Chileans films, but there are some films that I like, for example “Ojos Rojos” and “Mi Mejor Enemigo”
The first film I watched at cinema was The Lion King, but when I was a child, I loved Titanic, this film is a classic, other film important to me is The Notebook, this is a beautiful love story and I watched this with my boyfriend, a perfect moment! Don´t you think?

Who can live without it?

I always listen to music in any place. I believe: The music in my life is a form of distraction, for example when I need stay alone, study, travel or go to university, I usually use my mp3.
I really like to listen to music; mainly I prefer listen r&b, rock, love songs, dancehall or any song that really like in that moment of my life, and I really hate the heavy metal.
I get my songs using pc programs, for example Ares, or usually my dj friend gives me new hits.
When I was a child I followed a lot of groups (principally pop groups), now, if I like any song just I listen it. But I have my favorite’s groups as Robbie Williams, Nickelback, Oasis, Neyo, Beyonce, etc.
I like go to parties with groups in live. I love dance in the parties to the rhythm of music, also I had the opportunity to meet many Chileans groups and foreigners groups when I was related to production of events.
When I study I prefer listen slow music, r&b or English songs because help me to pay attention in my topics, in fact the silence disturbs me when I need read for long time. When I am happy I like to listen to electronic music, dancehall, rock, etc, nothing in especial; but when I am sad I prefer listen to songs that has some meaning for me.
The music is an accompaniment in my life, but is very necessary and is always present in my activities.
